Each motif has a special meaning. For example: Rabbit: The red eyes are believed to ward off evil and protect against illness. There is also a saying that it helps one become a kind person with a strong core. Sanbaso: Sanbaso, a traditional performing art, is considered auspicious. The foot stomping represents the tilling of the land related to agriculture, and the bell dance suggests sowing seeds, so it is a prayer for a bountiful harvest and "never going hungry." It also includes prayers for good health, family safety, and business prosperity. Owl: Known as the wise one of the forest, it is believed to bring wisdom. It is also written as "不苦労" (fukurou), meaning "to be free from suffering," and "福朗" (fukurou), meaning "may you be blessed with happiness," expressing a wish for good fortune. Overall, these ornaments are displayed with the wish that one will "never lack food, clothing, and shelter." *There are various theories. Size: Approximately 35-50cm in height, 8cm in width.
