I've used it for about two years, but I think it's still usable. I used it carefully, so I think it's in relatively good condition. The ball compartment is at the top, which was great because I didn't have to put it together with other things like clothes and lunch boxes. As shown in the third photo, the zipper hardware has a color that shows signs of use. It's not rusty, but the color has changed.
