This item is consigned from a friend of my mother's. It's a lovely vest with a reddish-vermilion fabric, gold and black braid trim, and Austrian-style buttons. Due to the lighting, it might appear bright red, but the actual color is more of a reddish-vermilion. The material tag had a name written on it, so I've cut it off. Therefore, I'm listing it as having some scratches and stains.
