This is a small plate I purchased at an antique market. I liked the atmosphere of wabi-sabi, so I brought it home. It has a simple grass pattern. There are ears of grain. It seems suitable for early autumn. The crackle glaze is also nice. According to the shop owner, it dates from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. For your reference. There are chips and cracks. Please check the images carefully. It's fine as it is, but repairing it with lacquer, or just a lacquer finish, would also retain the wabi-sabi aesthetic and look good.
