Men's geta (Japanese wooden clogs) with black thongs. I'm not sure what the thongs are made of, but they feel like velvet. From the front, the thongs are in perfect shape and look new. However, looking at the bottom, one of the reinforcements on the front is missing. They also show some signs of wear. These were found in the back of the shoe cabinet during a house cleanout. They belonged to my father, who was born in the Taisho era (1912-1926) and is now deceased. The box is old, but the geta themselves are in very good condition. This is an item being sold as part of a house cleanout, end-of-life preparations, and decluttering. Thank you for your interest.
