Complete set of the immortal masterpiece, Candy Candy, volumes 1-9 [Complete]. All volumes are the black-letter edition (old binding). Volumes 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are first editions. Volume 9 is a first edition, so it comes with the first edition limited pin-up poster. Volumes 1, 2, and 3 are from the initial publication, so the book design under the cover is a Candy Candy limited design. After carefully cleaning all volumes over time, new transparent book covers have been applied to all of them. The covers have wear and tear such as scratches and minor damage, but there are no noticeable tears, and the spine color fading is minimal, making them in good condition for their age. They also feel good to the touch due to the cleaning. Regarding the books themselves, there is a small tear of about 5mm at the end of volume 3, but it has been repaired with page repair tape and is barely noticeable. Other than that, there is some yellowing, wear, and minor damage, but the yellowing is minimal for their age, there are no particularly noticeable stains, the pages are relatively clean, and the binding is solid, making them in good condition for their age. There are no problems with reading all volumes. Please forgive any oversights due to amateur inspection. This is based on my personal opinion, and as these are very old manga that have been out for about half a century, there may be yellowing, stains, and folds. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about the condition or are a perfectionist.
