This is an old Suzuri made of Nachiguro stone, with a lid knob shaped like a plum tree, designed to match its rock-like surface. It is both elegant and charming. I inherited it from my grandfather, and it has a wonderful sense of character and history. As I already have my own inkstone, I kept this one stored away without using it. Now, I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish and use it with care. Please refer to the last photo. There is a small mark, which I cannot tell whether it is a minor scratch or part of the natural pattern of the stone. In my personal opinion, it does not detract from the beauty of the inkstone.
