This is a three-fold bag for a medium-neck (nakazao) shamisen or a thin-neck (hosozao) shamisen. It was made from a disassembled and washed vintage furisode (long-sleeved kimono). There are no stains or sun damage, but it has a retro feel. There are a few small white dots, which are alignment marks. The base color is a mellow vermillion. It's not as vivid red as it appears in the images. The lining is unused pink hakke-ji (lining fabric for the lower part of a kimono). Both the outer and inner fabrics are silk. This is a handmade item created by an amateur as a hobby, so thank you for your understanding.
