The design is very similar to the item. ◎ The water bottle, originally one of the 18 items that monks had to carry, gradually became a vessel for holding clean water to offer to the Buddha. The body of the Goryeo period pure water bottle is generally egg-shaped, and a lid-shaped round rim is placed on the smoothly finished long neck. The bottle captures a beautiful landscape, such as willow trees hanging long on the hills, fishermen rowing by the water's edge, and more, as if looking at a painting. All of these landscapes are decorated with the silver inlay technique, which involves carving grooves on the surface and hammering in silver wires.
