Five sencha tea bowls made by the 9th generation Saka Koraizaemon (Hagi ware). These were stored in a box in the back of a warehouse for a long time. The surface of the wooden box is considerably discolored, but the name "9th generation Saka Koraizaemon" can be read on the back (photo 4). It seems that my great-grandfather received these as a gift in return for something in 1919, and the box says "Mitsuzoroi" (three-piece set), so I think it was probably a set with a "kyusu" (teapot) and a "yumizashi" (water cooler). Although they are used items, they are in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches. Please check the photos for details and make your judgment. Size: Diameter: 6.5 cm Height: 4.7 cm
