I originally intended to wear them, so I had the soles repaired in all red, but I have never used them, so there is no wear on the soles. The sole material is leather. The leather sole has been dyed red. Only the black part of the heel is rubber. The fringe can be removed. The leather is in good condition and does not crack, maintaining its suppleness.
