However, the red display area above 0dB on the dB meter has faded due to aging and is barely visible, so it is listed as a defective item. Of course, the meter functions normally, and there are no problems with its operation. 【Repairs and Adjustments】 ・Disassembled and cleaned most of the front and rear drive units, applied lubricant. ・Cleaned (line, microphone) recording and playback volume controls. ・Cleaned the recording and playback selector switch. ・Replaced two playback idler rubber tires. ・Repaired the auto shut-off mechanism. ・Adjusted the azimuth of the recording/playback head, and demagnetized and cleaned it. ・Cleaned the pinch roller and capstan. ・Fine-tuned the playback equalizer, recording, dB meter, and levels. 【Operation Check】 ・All functions, including recording, playback, pause, fast forward, rewind, timer recording, and playback, have been confirmed to work. 【Sound Quality Check】 ・Based on listening to commercially available music tapes, I believe it produces sound that is more than adequate for enjoying music as a cassette deck that is over 45 years old (wow and flutter 0.11%, which is very good).
