As you can see in the photos, the metal parts have developed what appears to be mold or rust, and have turned green. I tried wiping it, but it wouldn't come off completely. Because I attached warm insoles with double-sided tape, the shoes are dirty when the insoles are removed. Therefore, please purchase these shoes with the understanding that you will be wearing them as they are. Since they haven't been worn often, the heels are not very worn and are in good condition.
