The coin pocket is slanted to accommodate a measuring tape. The back design uses darts instead of a yoke, to make the line from the back to the hips look beautiful. The hip line is designed to not be overly revealing or overly sexy, while still maintaining a three-dimensional silhouette. We were particular about this silhouette." [About the Fabric] The color is faded with bleach and dried in the sun. It is pre-dyed black selvage denim fabric. The warp threads are rope-dyed and the weft threads are cheese-dyed, resulting in different color densities and adding depth to the fabric's texture. Because it is pre-dyed with cheese dyeing, the color becomes a deep gray when faded. We aimed for a bluish-gray color for the gray shade. Woven on an old-style loom (shuttle loom), the fabric has an uneven texture that becomes more pronounced with washing. The use of uneven yarn gives it a nuanced appearance.
