Lister was born in Virginia, USA in 1978. Based in New York, he exhibits his work in galleries around the world and has also collaborated with numerous companies. Recently, he has been actively working in Japan, producing a 3D work and prints in collaboration with Hello Kitty in 2021. In 2022, he collaborated with WILDSIDE Yohji Yamamoto, and this year he produced apparel goods in collaboration with Uniqlo. Lister expresses popular images familiar to people, such as famous paintings, movies, and game characters, in watercolor paintings based on a pixel style, and contemplates geometric thinking and the transience of memory.
