Type of writing instrument: Mechanical pencil This is a rare mechanical pencil made from genuine Karin (Chinese quince) wood. It has many burls, ranging from small to large. I believe this will be a rare piece, as Karin wood is reportedly prohibited from being felled. The tapping sound when writing is irresistible. There are small scratches (like cracks) and some discoloration on the grip (as shown in the photos). The clip shows signs of aging, but I think it can be fixed with polishing. There are also traces of reinforcement. Sold as-is, no returns.
