Thank you for viewing! This is an introduction to the Marklin HO tutorial model with a special HAG motor. In the past, Marklin held workshops throughout Germany to promote new products, explain vehicle maintenance methods, and describe the structure of each model. This tutorial model was distributed to attendees as a teaching material at those workshops. Marklin is also popular with children in German elementary schools (Germany has different school systems depending on the state, with some states adopting a 4-year system and others a 6-year system), and some children even take up the structure of motors and trains for their summer vacation research or assignments. I thought the tutorial models were all made from junk parts, but some included new motors and gearboxes. This is a gearbox-equipped motor (INCA 16.8202) from the Swiss model railway brand HAG, which was used in Marklin models. Upon listing, I inserted the brushes and applied power, and it worked. Therefore, I think it can also be used as a replacement part. HAG products are not widely distributed in Japan, so this is a rare item, and the listing of a motor with a gearbox is even rarer. Although there are some differences in shape, the structure is almost the same as the motors and gearboxes used by Marklin, so it will be very educational for those who are considering overhauling their own vehicles.
