Purchased over 10 years ago, I initially displayed it but have kept it in a dark place for many years. The hands are loose and wobbly. Closing the center part improves it somewhat, but the hands are also bent, and I don't think it can be used as a clock. I hope you can enjoy it as interior decor... I haven't checked if it works.
