This is a tray (dish) from the Haviland "Imperatrice Eugenie" series. This plate was purchased at a department store. It has a design very similar to the Okura Toen Shakespeare Flowers Pansy Trio (currently listed), which I purchased for my collection at the same time. Although it hasn't been used much, the gold trim has slightly faded due to aging and stacking. I didn't notice it until inspection, but I think it would be fine to use it after applying gold paint.
