They have a good old-fashioned vintage feel that is not found in current Dior glasses. While many Dior Optyl glasses from this era were oversized or eccentric, these are just the right size. The temples are made of metal, which is rare, and feature subtle metal embellishments, white ear tips, and a small, one-point metal CD logo on the hinges. The frame material is a fluorescent color with a refreshing clear orange and clear yellow hue, made of Optyl, a rare material no longer produced. Optyl material glasses were developed in 1965. They are lightweight, have high shape memory, and retain their luster even after decades, offering benefits different from other plastic materials. Dior fully adopted them from the early 70s, and they are no longer manufactured today. Euro vintage items are gradually increasing in price, so please consider this opportunity.
