This is a textile from the Qing Dynasty of China, known in industry jargon as "Qing Dynasty carved silk, indigo ground, sea and cliff pattern robe fragment." Using gold thread and silk thread, this item is meticulously decorated with auspicious patterns such as "mountains and cliffs, sea waves, fish and dragons, and miscellaneous treasures" using a hand-weaving technique called "carved silk" across the entire surface. Judging from the style, this piece is considered to be a work from the late Qing Dynasty.
