Indigo-dyed Kenshin bags and dialect hand towels from the Izumiya Dye Shop in Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture, the birthplace of Yasubei Horibe. Born as Yasubei Nakayama in 1670, later becoming Yasubei Horibe. These Kenshin bags are themed after the festivals of Shibata. In 2019, they were displayed around the Imperial Palace during the National Festival in Tokyo. I believe Shintaro Ishihara also participated once.
