A top-of-the-line Archet fractional bow, the Sonore series, 1/4 size. This item has a list price of 250,000 yen. It was a wonderful bow, capable of handling all sorts of difficult techniques such as up-bow staccato and spiccato, and you wouldn't believe it was a fractional bow. Unfortunately, my child accidentally broke it some time ago, rendering it unusable, and I have been keeping it in storage. It was truly a great bow, and now that time has passed and the shock has subsided, I am offering it for sale in the hope that a maker or researcher might find a use for it. From the break, the vibrant orange color of the top-grade Pernambuco wood is visible, and a beautiful luster can be seen. The winding and screw, as well as other parts, are made of pure silver.
