This is a PCS Thermal Jacket from the British Army. It's a military jacket from the British Army's cold weather layering system. The outer fabric is highly water-repellent micro-ripstop nylon, and the insulation is a lightweight and highly heat-retaining polyester fiber material. Microfleece material is used on the back of the collar, and a hood is stored in the collar. As a function designed for use in blizzard conditions, the hood's visor has a wire that can be adjusted to shape. The front has a double zipper, and the collar and hem have drawcords to prevent heat from escaping. Before the development of this PCS series, all current British Army equipment was manufactured in China. Therefore, there is no such thing as a British-made PCS series. As it is currently used by the British Army, there is no concept of deadstock, and there are no changes in specifications or differences in fabric depending on the year. The color variations of this PCS series are only one color, which appears coyote in fluorescent light and olive in sunlight.
