In addition, each trigger pad supports velocity. When sending note data, you can select from 8 types of velocity curves for each pad according to your application and preference, or you can send the velocity value set in advance in Setting mode. Furthermore, by using the X-Y pad in combination, you can achieve more realistic drum expressions such as flams and rolls. The padKONTROL also features an illumination mode. When this mode is set, the LEDs built into the trigger pads light up with unique flashing patterns. There are two types of flashing patterns: one that starts flashing when the trigger pad is hit, and one that starts flashing automatically if the unit is not touched for a certain period of time.
