This is a purple, 100% cashmere scarf from ISETAN MEN'S × Cesare Gatti of Italy. I was looking for a purple, 100% cashmere scarf to match a gray coat, and that's when I found this one. The size is approximately 180cm (excluding the fringe of about 7cm) x 30cm, which is a very standard size. The purchase price was about 20,000 yen. I only tried it on at home and never wore it outside, so it's very clean except for some storage wrinkles. The biggest reason I bought this scarf is because the cashmere fabric from Cesare Gatti of Italy has a stunning luster, and the way it reflects light gives it a subtle, water-like texture (anyone who loves clothes will instantly think, "That's definitely an expensive scarf!"). Even though cashmere is cashmere, the grades vary greatly, and the prices range widely. High-quality cashmere often "waves." (The "wave" in cashmere refers to the unique, undulating appearance that appears on the fabric when light hits it. This wave only appears in truly high-grade cashmere. I hesitate to use this example, but it doesn't appear on Uniqlo scarves.) This scarf, as you would expect from ISETAN MEN'S, known for its department store original quality, and Cesare Gatti, is made of this "well-waving" cashmere. When light hits it, the shimmering appearance is truly beautiful and creates a very rich atmosphere. (I tried hard to capture this amazing wave in a photo, but whether it's the camera's performance or my skill, I couldn't quite capture the wave...) The feel is, of course, outstanding. It's a strange thing to say, but it feels so good that you want to rub it against your cheek. I think a woman would be incredibly happy if you lent it to her (you might not get it back, haha). The reason I didn't use it is because I was looking for a nice gray tailored coat at the same time, but then I found an incredibly good leather jacket and bought it, so I put the search for a gray coat on hold, and it's been that way ever since. I really like it, and I would be happy to pass it on to someone who likes it and will cherish it as well.
