This is a wooden tray finished with "fuki-urushi" (wiped lacquer). The fuki-urushi finish brings out the wood grain, and it can be used as a coffee tray, a saucer for kokedama (moss balls), or an accessory tray. The back and sides are also cut and carefully finished. The material is domestic natural wood. This is a new, unused item, but please understand that it has been stored at home. Thank you.
