Overhauled in August 2025. See image 6. It is very clean with no noticeable scratches. This is a 1961 Citizen Alarm hand-wound model. It has a design inspired by the Jaeger-LeCoultre alarm, with the crown at the 2 o'clock position operating the alarm (inner dial) and the crown at the 4 o'clock position operating the watch. The six round holes on the back cover are designed to make the alarm sound more resonant, producing a chirping sound like an insect. The movement is a hand-wound 19-jewel, 3-position adjusted movement. Due to its striking resemblance to the design of Jaeger-LeCoultre, it is a valuable early model that was discontinued after complaints from the original manufacturer.
