RX-78-2 1/144 RG This is a wall-mounted, illuminated Gunpla hangar built into a photo frame (20cm x 15cm), incorporating as many hangar-like parts as possible. It uses transparent acrylic, allowing the background to be seen through it, and the atmosphere changes depending on where it is displayed. The Gundam itself has been panel-lined and given a matte finish to enhance its texture. All the hangar parts have been treated with iron paint and weathering colors to create a rust effect. Since a photo frame base tends to be flat, parts have also been placed in the background behind the transparent acrylic, creating a layered composition with the background, the main body, and the foreground to give it depth. Even when viewed from the back, the Gundam's rear is visible, making it a piece worthy of appreciation. *1mm high-transparency acrylic is used. As an illumination gimmick, 8 LEDs have been rewired, with blue LEDs to illuminate the Gundam itself, red LEDs incorporated inside the parts to create the atmosphere of the device being activated, and white LEDs designed to illuminate the wall behind the background, creating a three-dimensional effect. CR2032 button batteries are used and can be replaced. The LEDs are positioned so that they don't directly enter the camera lens when photographed from the front, eliminating lens flare and allowing for easy atmospheric photos.
