Patagonia Infurno Jacket. 1999 model, size M. Red shell, black fleece lining. Mid-period model, with all-black fleece only in '99. From 2000 onwards, the chin area is gray. It's from 25 years ago, so the boa lining shows some wear, but the body is in very good condition with no tears. There are early, mid, and late models. This is the mid-period model. Personally, I feel the mid-period model, with hand warmers, a nylon shell, and a double zipper, is the best. Early models (97, 98) don't have hand warmers. Late models (03-07) have a polyester shell, which is less durable and prone to abrasion, and a single zipper. Recently, there's a trend to appreciate the early models, but the mid-period model is undoubtedly more practical.
