This is a silver item with the inscription "Ginsei Zenko" and a signature. It appears to be a work of Mori Gin-ki Seisakusho (Mori Silverware Manufacturing). Please investigate if it was used by the Imperial Household Agency. It would be a shame to judge the value of this item solely by its weight, but when weighed on a balance scale, it's just under 18g. Thirteen toothpicks fit inside, but it's a tight fit; it was probably designed for twelve. The hammered texture gives it a handmade feel. It sparkles beautifully. I think it will shine even more if polished. The screw is in good condition and secure. It's very stylish as a pill case.
