Edco copper foil tape for stained glass is a classic. I've used various types, but this is still the easiest to use, number one. Even when blackening the solder, the copper-colored backing of regular copper tape doesn't detract from the beauty of the glass, so this color is recommended for all but transparent clear glass. Both translucent and opaque colored glass won't have blackness seeping from the edges, and the sparkle won't be diminished, so please use the copper-colored backing. The width is 5.6mm, which is ideal for 2mm to 4mm glass and is a very easy-to-use regular type.
