I bought these new and wore them outside only once. The metal fittings on the bottom of the zori act as stoppers, so they won't slip. They should fit up to a size 24cm. There is no damage to the surface, but since I wore them outside once, there are scratches on the metal fittings. I'm listing them as having scratches and dirt, but they are still perfectly wearable.
