Yamada Heiando, founded in 1919, is a lacquerware specialty store that has supplied lacquerware to the Imperial Household Agency for imperial ceremonies and formal occasions. It has built deep relationships with renowned temples and shrines such as Ise Jingu and Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and has continued to create tableware that caters to modern lifestyles while preserving traditional techniques. These vermilion-lacquered katakuchi kobachi feature gold accents on the katakuchi (one-sided spout) portion, and the contrast of gold and vermilion highlights their classical beauty.
