This item was at my parents' house and is quite old, from a time when teapots didn't have internal strainers. There is staining, like tea residue, in the holes on the inside of the teapot (see photo 11). I tried to remove it, but it didn't change at all, and since it's the same color as the rim of the teapot, I believe it's the original color from the firing process. There are no chips or cracks, and it's in beautiful condition, but please understand that it has been stored for a long time. Thank you for your understanding. There are no smokers or pets.
