The Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), or Royal Porcelain Factory Berlin, is a German porcelain manufacturer founded on September 19, 1763, by Prussian King Frederick II. The product mark is a cobalt blue scepter derived from the coat of arms of the Elector of Brandenburg, which is affixed to all products. Furthermore, all decorated KPM porcelain features the painter's mark and the decorator's mark. This is a wonderful piece.
