I have unpicked, washed, and ironed a vintage silk kimono. It's a slightly stiff but soft-to-the-touch azuki bean color. There are pockets on both sides, but they are more for design and are shallow, so things may fall out. Please consider them as a design element (Photos 3, 4, 5). There are fabric-covered buttons on the back (Photo 8). The sleeves are connected at the back because the kimono width wasn't sufficient (Photo 9). There are some dye stains from the dyeing process, but I think they are not very noticeable and you can wear it without worry (Photo 10). Washing instructions: Machine wash on a delicate cycle or hand wash, using a laundry net.
