Patagonia was a popular product back then, and I purchased and wore this item for myself, along with the store's inventory. At the time, I wore it with a down vest from a New Zealand manufacturer called fairydown (now absorbed by Macpac), as shown in the photos. (The down vest is listed separately, so please consider it as well.) Therefore, it rarely got dirty even when worn outside (the down vest was also Gore-Tex, so it was almost stain-resistant). There is only one issue, or rather, I noticed a 5cm tear along the overlock stitching on the right armpit.
