I bought this around 1987 in New York. It's a set of a fine bone china mug and plate from the British pottery maker, QUEEN'S. It's a model called "Cut for Coffee" with a retro-modern design featuring playing cards. The rim and handle of the cup have gold accents. Coffee mug: 9cm tall, 7.5cm diameter Plate: 16.5cm There are 4 sets. I haven't used them much, but there is some fading on the gold trim of the cup. The plates are like new.
