This is an "Old Mine" inkstone, one of the most valuable and rarest among Duan inkstones. It is made from a raw stone that has been crafted into an inkstone. Gently rub a solid ink stick across the smooth surface of the inkstone. The resulting ink is rich in color, and the brush feels soft. 11.3cm x 10.0cm, Thickness 1.7cm, Weight 430g.
