❏ Kenzan Shunryu Tea Bowl - Korin Miyagawa Born in Kyoto in 1948 as the fourth son of the previous generation, Kouun Miyagawa. After graduating from university in 1970, he studied under Mr. Kazumitsu Takahashi, a Japanese-style painter. Completed the Kyoto Prefectural Ceramic Vocational Training School in 1971. Received guidance from his father. Trained under the previous generation, Ryosai Kageyama and Touka Murata. Became independent in 1970. Received the art name "Korin" from Reiumu Roshi of Daitoku-ji Temple. Exhibited at the International Garden and Greenery Exposition, 90 Government Garden in 1990. Received the Kyoto City Mayor's Award at the 36th Kyoto Overglaze Ceramic Art Exhibition in 1993. There are no cracks or chips, and the condition is good.
