Purchased from an industrial-themed antique shop in Long Island, New York, which carries a lot of coffee mills. It's a very old and large wall-mounted coffee mill. It's a Parker Co. COFFEE MILL, model number No. 449, from Connecticut. It's from around 1917, and the handle is stamped with "Pat Dec 4, 1917" and other markings. It's rare to find one with the glass jar still intact, and the iron is sturdy cast iron. The last photo is an article about antique coffee mills from quite a while ago. For reference, it shows a completed grinder. The price is also written as $250, 20 years ago. This one is missing the lower iron part and the glass cup. It has a lid, and the function of the coffee mill remains, allowing you to put beans in from the top. It seems to be quite difficult and expensive to find one in America with all the original parts, both top and bottom. The glass cup in the photo is not original and was added by the shop recently. The size is almost right, but please consider it as better than nothing. Of course, it's been used for many years, but I've never actually used it, so I don't know how precise the grinding is. The attractive large crank turns smoothly. It's the type with four screw holes on the back, and it seems it was once directly attached to a wall or a board. This one was attached to a board at an American shop, and although the board is not old, it highlights the beautiful iron parts.
