(Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this) The Hakkodo A-1 series was made by Tada Sangyo, the predecessor of the current Nihon Kendogu Seisakusho (Japan Kendo Equipment Manufacturing). It is kendo equipment made in Japan. The fabric is sturdy, and the core material is thin, but it is lightweight and durable kendo equipment. The Men is really light compared to other kendo equipment.
