This is a nenne hanten (baby's padded coat) from the Showa 30s (1955-1964). The pattern is lovely, and the fabric feels like silk (though I can't say for sure). I'm offering it for sale in hopes that someone will find a use for it. ○ Product Details... Nenneko Hanten ○ Color/Size... White with plants, actual size (length 90cm, shoulder to cuff 67cm, sleeve length 46cm) ○ Fabric... Silk-like, inner fabric → cotton ○ Condition... It has a unique fabric smell from long-term storage, and the smell of mothballs. Since it has been used, there are stains and spots in various places besides the photos. (From photo 10)
