Vintage Rickenbacker guitar amplifier. Based on the Jensen speaker serial number, it appears to be a 1960 production model. (220 = Jensen code, 034 = 1960, 34th week) It was originally released in 1955 as a set with a lap steel guitar, but now it's used as an amplifier for electric guitars, similar to the Fender Champ and Gibson Skylark. The construction is also very similar to the above two models, with the standard specifications of a small vintage amplifier: 6V6, 5Y3GT, and 12AX7. While it may not have the same name recognition as the Champ, I don't think the sound is inferior. The sound that gradually drives naturally from a soft clean sound is a unique sound that cannot be obtained from modern, precise, and excellent amplifiers, a sound only possible in an imperfect and tolerant era. (In funkojisan's video, Kenken praised it, saying it was much better than the Champ!) You can enjoy the sound of vacuum tubes casually at home, use it for recording, or enjoy it as a collector's item. ・Some of the screws on the back panel have been replaced. ・The vacuum tubes and transformers appear to have been replaced. ・It's unclear if this was the original specification, but there is a 2-3 minute waiting period before it starts working after turning on the power. Due to the fact that it is a very old vacuum tube amplifier, please understand that the item will be sold as is regarding any changes to the parts. It was one of my favorites, with a clean sound that had a subtle, exquisite "juwa" (warm, slightly distorted) flavor, but I am selling it because it has become difficult to play due to changes in my living environment. I hope that someone who understands vintage equipment and can manage it, including maintenance, will cherish it for a long time.
