I am selling this item to organize my collection. The front features a Sansui (mountain and water) design, the back has a precise and rare Hoju Kararakusa (treasure orb arabesque) pattern, and the base has a double-cornered Uzufuku (whirlpool good fortune) mark. The indigo glaze is beautiful, and the sometsuke (blue and white), design, and firing are all excellent, making this, I believe, an old Imari Fuyo-de (lotus flower style) plate. Diameter: Approximately 14.5 cm Height: Approximately 4.5 cm There is one "furimono" (minor imperfection) on the front, but there are no cracks or chips, and I believe it is in generally good condition. Please understand that this is an antique item, and consider this before purchasing.
