This is a Kamakura period Ko-Seto heishi (small sake bottle). It's for single servings, small in size, with a height of 17 cm and a width of 12 cm. Three strong lines accentuate the shoulders, and the shape and condition are excellent. The sporadic application of floral imprints in three tiers allows for the enjoyment of the iron glaze dripping over the surface, a characteristic of Ko-Seto ware. This is a valuable and well-considered piece. Thank you.
