This is a Star Wars R2-D2 telephone from 28 years ago. When there's an incoming call, R2-D2 sounds and his head lights up to let you know. I bought it new and actually used it back then. After that, I packed it away during a move and stored it in the attic. However, I didn't remove the batteries, which caused them to leak and corrode the battery compartment. Therefore, I can't confirm if it works, and it's being sold as junk. The box and instruction manual are from that time, but they are generally dirty and damaged.
