A children's mug and teacup from the Japanese anime adaptation of "The Adventures of Maya the Bee." Made in Japan, purchased at an antique mall in the US. ○ The teacup appears to be almost unused, with no chips or scratches. ○ The mug has paint loss on Maya's mouth (photo 12) and small scratches from a spoon on the inside bottom, visible when held up to the light (photo 6). Both items are glossy and in good condition for their age, making them very rare. Mug: 7cm diameter, 7cm height Teacup: 5.8cm diameter, 7.5cm height Based on the children's book "The Adventures of Maya the Bee" by German author Waldemar Bonsels, this TV anime was produced in Japan and broadcast in Japan and other countries from 1975.
