This is a 13-string koto. It's a standard koto with a flat soundboard and a "sudare-bori" (bamboo blind carving) design. While it has minimal ornamentation like edge trim, it does have corner edging. The sound quality isn't particularly exceptional, but it's made of paulownia wood. It produces a sound that is characteristic of a koto. If you don't mind the lack of elaborate decoration, it can be used in concerts, and its sound and resonance are comparable to other kotos. For beginners or those who are not very experienced, I will include a copy of a practice book. For those who need them, I will also include koto bridges, a cat-foot bridge box (or an alternative), and a tuner. Koto picks are usually custom-made to fit the player's fingers, so please order them to fit your own. How about using it for practice at home for the koto club? A tuner is convenient for tuning.
